Files deleted while waiting for VRT process

[edit]

Hello, I'm referring to the messages here, here, and here. Author of the photos in question has sent the licensing email to VRT on 24 Jul and we were waiting for confirmation. I hope you can bring those photos back. I believe I put the right tags for the meanwhile, let me know if not. Thanks!

Incorrect tagging of Files

[edit]

AntiCompositeBot has made an incorrect tagging to two Filipino government pictures. The image in question is under Public domain according Philipine law. Part IV, Chapter I, Section 171.11 and Part IV, Chapter IV, Section 176 of Republic Act No. 8293 and Republic Act No. 10372, as amended, unless otherwise noted.

The website for which these photos originate is taken from The Republic of the Philippines Embassy in Thailand, wherein the website clearly states that "All content is in the public domain unless otherwise stated." https://bangkokpe.dfa.gov.ph/embassy-headlines/1691-bang-saen

This photograph is considered public domain in the Philippines, and potentially in other jurisdictions, because it was produced by an officer or employee of the Philippine government or any of its subdivisions, agencies, or government-owned and controlled corporations as part of their official duties.
Tag used: (WorkDepicted-PD-PhilippinesGov) , Kaliper1 (talk) 06:56, 22 August 2025 (UTC)Reply

@Kaliper1 The {{WorkDepicted-PD-PhilippinesGov}} is for when the work depicted in the photograph is public domain; it must be used in addition to another tag explaining why the photograph itself is public domain or freely licensed. Here, the photographs themselves are in the public domain, so I've corrected the tag to {{PD-PhilippinesGov}}. —‍Mdaniels5757 (talk • contribs) 14:43, 23 August 2025 (UTC)Reply
